Liability

During her/his sojourn at the Relais des Tulipes the use by the hirer of the premises and other facilities (such as the swimming pool) is strictly voluntary and at her/his own risk. The owners of the Relais des Tulipes are not responsible for any damages relating to loss, theft, or material and/or physical harm.

The hirer is fully responsible for any damage caused while staying at the Relais des Tulipes. The hirer is urgently recommended to be properly insured.

 

Use

The hirer is kindly requested to ensure that the rural and peaceful atmosphere of the site is respected. Upon her/his departure, the hirer is kindly requested to leave the premises behind in a clean and orderly state.

The owners wish to emphasize that the pond (“la serve”) as well as its banks are strictly reserved for their own use, and that therefore access is denied to any other person. The hirer commits her/himself to respect this rule, in particular as far as children are concerned.

The premises of the Relais des Tulipes are non-smoking areas.

Parking of vehicles is free of charge in the appointed areas.

 

Swimming pool

The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the owners, their guests and the hirer(s). The owners wish to emphasize the absence of supervision on the owner’s behalf, so that the use of the pool by the hirer(s) or by her/his company is strictly at the own risk of the hirer. The hirer commits her/himself to respect common rules of safety, hygiene, courtesy and noise limitation, in particular vis-à-vis the neighbours. 

Access to the pool and its close environment is forbidden for unaccompanied children under the age of 12 or children without a swimming certificate. These children have to be actively supervised by a competent adult.

 

Tariffs

Prices indicated on the website for the gîte and the apartment are per night and per week, and are inclusive the “taxe du séjour” and cleaning.

Tariffs will be calculated on the basis of low season for the months of November, December, January, February, March and April, mid-season for the months of May, June, September and October, and high-season in July and August.

During low- and mid-season the gîte and the apartment will be rented out per day with a minimum stay of three nights. In high-season, the gîte and the apartment can only be hired on the basis of a week.

 

Reservation

The full amount of the rent due has to be paid upon booking. The reservation is confirmed once payment has been received by the owners.

 

Number of guests

If the number of guests will be higher than the capacity of the rooms reserved as indicated on the website, the owners reserve the right to limit the number of guests according to capacity. However, and only in exceptional cases, additional beds may be provided at a cost of € 30 per person per night.

 

Cancellation

Cancellations will only be accepted by recommended mail or by e-mail, addressed to the owners. In case the cancellation takes place prior to 4 weeks before the agreed date of arrival, a full refund will be made. If a reservation is cancelled within 4 weeks of the agreed date of arrival, a refund will not be made unless the reserved object will be rented out again.

In case the hirer does not show up within 24 hours of the agreed date of arrival, the owners are at liberty to rent out the reserved object again and abstain from refunding the deposit.

In case of an early departure, the owners reserve the right to retain the remaining rent already advanced.

In case the owners will have to cancel a reservation already made, the hirer will be immediately informed and her/his deposit will be reimbursed.

 

Animals

Domestic animals are not allowed.
